How do you want your story told?

Real life is always the best story.

I am a lifestyle photographer.

This means that if you are looking for a photographer who will get your four crazy kiddos to sit in a perfect line with their hands folded in their laps while wearing uncomfortable clothes, or a headshot that looks like the grown-up version of a stiff school picture, I have to tell you right up front- I’m definitely not the right photographer for you.

But if you don’t mind the kids getting dirty so long as their delight is real, or if you want your headshot to convey who your clients will actually be working with, or if you simply want photos that capture more genuine and natural interactions, well…in that case, I’m your girl.

My approach is to work with you to create images that will reflect the real story you are seeking to tell. I will guide you toward great light and locations. I will gently direct you so that you don’t stand there feeling awkward and unsure of what to do with your hands. But that direction will be aimed at unlocking your natural expressions and putting you at ease so that you can be yourself and move through your session in a way that feels true to who you are.

I encourage play. I don’t mind dripping ice cream cones. Or yoga in the woods. Or engagement sessions on mountains in the snow.

Dogs are welcome. Dishes in the sink are no problem. Imperfection is wonderful.

Laughter is my favorite.

It’s the living that is at the heart of my lifestyle photography, after all.

Cindy was simply amazing ! She made the session enjoyable and fun. My kids have asked ‘When can we see Cindy again?’ I’ve received so many compliments on our pictures and will definitely be calling her again to capture our family.

Family/senior Session

We wait.

We think, “When the weather gets warmer,” or “When I lose 10 pounds,” or “When things calm down at work.”

A few months pass. Then a few more.

They slide away, hidden beneath piles of laundry and looming project deadlines and bedtime baths and rushed school mornings.

Beneath frosty fall canoe trips and milk-through-the-nose laughter and long summer days that seem like they’ll never end.

We look up and our toddler is starting kindergarten. Our kindergartner is starting high school. Our high schooler is learning to drive.

Life is full of, well…living.

And that fullness, that living, is at the heart of the images we’ll create together.

Of your family being themselves. Being real. Getting dirty and having fun.

Let’s not wait.

Let’s do it. Together.

Personal Branding/ Lifestyle Session

You need photos for your brand. It’s that simple.

You need photos for your website and your social media and for speaking gigs and media contributions.

You need photos to show what you bring to the table. All the ways you’re going to rock their world.

You need photos that speak to the right people. Your people. The ones who get it.

These are not Uncle-Stew-the-accountant’s headshots from 1989.

There will be no awkward posing. No school photo backdrop. No vacant-eyed smiling until your teeth dry out.

We will capture your brand. Your message. The actual YOU that your people will meet.

And we’ll have a blast while we’re at it.

Every Session Includes:

  • Your on-location session generally lasting 2 hours

Cindy is amazing at what she does. She’s compassionate, knowledgable, creative, and thinks/ plans for photos beyond the ones you request. I look forward to our next photo shoot when she comes back to Jersey- I’m already booking it now!
— Jenn Vinges
She was able to make us feel so comfortable and natural in front of the camera, she even got our two dogs to behave for her! She totally captured our personalities and caught all the candid moments for our special day. We’ve received so many compliments on our photos... looking through them, I am still finding hidden gems almost 3 years later.

Sure, the dress is important and the centerpieces help set the mood.

You care about the food, because, well…food. (Duh?)

But what you actually care about most is your people.

The one you’ve committed to building a life with.

The family that’s been alongside you through it all.

The friends who have shown up time and again when you’ve needed them most.

They’ll all be there.

For the vows and the toasts and the tears.

And definitely for ALL. THE. LAUGHTER.

Weddings are fun. Like, really fun.

So let’s capture all that fun so you can pull it out and relive it whenever you feel like it.

Fun in physical form? Yes, please!

Every Wedding Includes:

  • 8-10 hours of coverage by me and a second photographer

  • Your online gallery of edited, high-res, downloadable digital images with personal use and printing rights

  • A 10x10 50-page custom coffee table book of your day

Whether you are planning a yoga retreat in Belize, an expansion of your company’s services to eastern Europe, or an immunization campaign in Haiti, images that tell the story of your purpose can play a key role in everything from communication with participants to fundraising efforts.

Let’s talk about your vision.

Let’s talk about your mission.

Let’s talk about bringing your message to life.

I can help you and your organization connect with the people you want to reach.

So…what are you waiting for?

I have worked with Cindy for nearly eight years in both my home state of Maine, and across three different countries. On location, in the wilderness or in a new city, she learns everything there is to know about the area she’s in - the wildlife, foliage, history, culture, and of course, the cuisine! She has a masterful way of capturing the aliveness of whomever or whatever is on the other side of her lens. Her photographs embody so much more than a still moment in time.
